Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in a wonderful game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, not like most other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their money.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to bet on for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
