Web poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a figure in accordance with the initial bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out chips even with your original bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
